Definition: The foam ball is the white foamy part inside the tube. When a surfer is too deep in the tube, he can end up in the foam ball.
It's therefore a zone that can be critical and unstable if the surfer is too deep in the tube, as you'll be blinded and your balance will also be shakier.
So avoid going too deep into the tube, to avoid foam ball.
